The Basis of its Establishment

  • Structure :made up of not more than 120 members elected at general meeting of each localchapter of CAK
    ( currently 104 representatives )
  • Functions :
    • Alteration of the articles of association
    • Approval for settlement of accounts decision on budget and business plans
    • Election of president, Director, Auditor and Ethic Representative
    • Decision on major policies
  • Operation :Regular General Assembly - once per year ( February)
    Temporary General Assembly - as occasion arises

Board of Directors

  • Functions :
    • Number of directors : 29 persons
  • Functions :
    • Decision of account settlement, budget and business plans
    • Decision on the implementation plan for major business
    • Enactment and revision of Association's founding regulations
    • Reward for and discipline against members
    • Improvement of member's welfare
  • Operation : as occasion arises

association executives)
  • review of settlement for pending problems and grievance
    of small and medium-sized firms
    review of system and policies to protect and foster small
    and medium- sized contractors
Landscaping
Committee 		Not more than 20 persons
(members, experts,
association executives)
  • review of current system and policy for development of
    Landscaping Work Business
  • search for bottleneck of landscaping members and proposal
    for possible solutions
Technology Review
Committee 		11 persons
(experts from academics,
research and industry)
  • review of construction technology improvement and
    supervision
  • review of method for improvement of system regarding
    design, construction technology, defects and etc.

Local Chapters

  • Location :
    • Seoul, Pusan, Taegu, Kwangju, Inchon, Taejon and capital cities of each province
  • Organization :
    • made up of Association members whose principal business office is located at an area under the jurisdiction of city
      and province
  • Functions :
    • makes suggestion to and answers regional government offices regarding inquiries of construction industry
    • handles matters related to city and provincial general meetings and manager's meetings
    • handles matters related to cooperation and mutual understanding amongst regional me
    • other miscellaneous matters directed by headquarters
  • Operation Fund (separate account management) :
    • Annual ordinary fee, Annual basic fee and Admission fee of members by local chapters
